BEGIN IT

I hope you like this piece of calligraphy inspired by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Goethe was a noted German writer, artist, and politician. Many of his poems were set to music by the great European composers including Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms and Mahler during the 19th century.

Calligraphy executed on A3 Cartridge Paper,
using Manuscript Scroll No 6 Nib, Black Ink.
Crayola pencils were used to add the colour.

An Irishman arrived in Geelong

This is my attempt ever at putting together a few poetic lines. The poem came to me in a moment of serendipity.

My First Limerick

An Irishman arrived in Geelong
He was sent there for doing some wrong
After serving his sentence
And making repentance
He settled down with Miss Goolagong
