The Disruptive Effects of BREXIT

On BREXIT....let me quote you President Abraham Lincoln:
“The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.” And so it is for the parties to The BREXIT Negotiations to have regard to the disruptive effects of a closed mind on the subject. We must think anew and act anew for the betterment of all involved

Making a Comment, Compliment or Complaint to TUSLA

A written complaint should include:

  • Who was involved?
  • What happened and when?
  • What are you concerned about?
  • Have you done anything else to resolve this matter?
  • What do you want to happen now?
It will also assist the complaints officer if any extra information and/or copies of other relevant documents are attached to your written complaint.

Long Delay In TUSLA
Dealing With Some
Child Abuse Allegations

Ombudsman Peter Tyndall

Bellow is what can only be regarded as "
A DAMNING INDICTMENT OF
THE WORK OF TUSL"

The following report, dated Wednesday 19 July 2017 appeared on the RTE website on the above subject and can only make harrowing reading to the ill-fated clients and their families who were failed by TUSLA "The Child and Family Agency":
The Ombudsman has criticised Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, for serious failings in its responses to a number of allegations of child abuse made against adults.
The watchdog found that in one case it took five years to clear the name of an accused man, while in another a note recording a complainant's allegations was sent to the wrong address.
The report by Ombudsman Peter Tyndall has its origins in a warning three years ago by his office to the newly-created Tusla about how social workers were handling some cases including allegations of child abuse, particularly historic complaints. Link to Full Report  [A Must Read]

The Commission for Aviation Regulation Ireland & Passengers' Rights

The Commission for Aviation Regulation

The rights afforded by the Regulation apply to the following:
  • All passengers departing from EU/EEA airports.
  • All passengers departing from outside of the EU/EEA but arriving at an EU/EEA airport on an EU/EEA-licensed carrier (unless they have already received compensation or assistance in that third country).
Enforcement of the Regulation is divided between the various Member States. The Commission for Aviation Regulation, the Irish enforcement body, processes complaints which arise from flights departing from Irish airports or alternatively those arriving at Irish airports from non-EU countries on EU licensed carriers. MORE INFORMATION

Requesting Access to my records
i.e. My Data File

One of the most effective methods of dealing with difficult companies of organisation when their communication skills are not up to scratch is to request your records under the Data Protection Acts. This leaves no misunderstanding or any excuse for putting your query or queries on the long finger. In a manner of speaking using the Data Protections Acts will get organisations to "get the finger out". There is a maximum of a 40 day window for the company/organisation to respond. Thereafter they are in breach of the Acts which can have serious consequences.

Under Section 3 of the Data Protection Acts, you have a right to find out, free of charge, if a person (an individual or an organisation) holds information about you.  You also have a right to be given a description of the information and to be told the purpose(s) for holding your information.

Follow the links below, one of which  contains a letter template with instructions enabling you to access any details the organisation holds about you.
Arm yourself with the knowledge that is available on The Data Protection Acts website and you will get results.

VOTE EARLY AND OFTEN

Image result for Ireland election 2016
We Get The Government We Deserve
Is it More Of The Same or
A New Dawn
Don't forget to vote strategically today and maximise the possibility of making it count. The PR system gives you the opportunity, that if your First Preference Candidate is eliminated early your No 2 then moves up and becomes your No 1 i.e. First Preference. This method continues if/until all your Preferences are used up. Hopefully one of these Preferences kicks in. This is the advantage of Proportional Representation. It is certainly fairer the the British and gives a better representation of the county's views. Make Your Vote count.

Also DO NOT FORGET: If you decide to only vote for one Candidate "PLACE 1 AGAINST HIS/HER NAME AND NOT AN X". The pity is that the latter happens all too often.

Information via Limerick Live95FM News
There is growing anger among residents in Corbally, who say the flooding which has caused devastation overnight was man-made.
Flood waters spilled from the canal after efforts to locate the Waterways Ireland keyholder... Read On...

Earlier the ESB informed the public that they had to increase the flow of water from the Ardnacrusha Dam near the village of Parteen, a short distance from Limerick city. The Shannon flows through Limerick city, parts of which have been directly affected by the rising flod waters.

To Separated People in Ireland

I have been asked by a colleague to publish the following article:

To Separated People in Ireland. The TV3 Vincent Browne Political Discussion TV show was recorded in Limerick City Hotel on last Monday night December 7th 2015 to be aired later in the week.
I was there with many others. As far as I can see they cut my question out. They do not seem to be interested in Separated Peoples points of view.
It demonstrates how TV Shows avoid questions that will point to even bigger problems out there that society, the media and the Government want to ignore. I think it is time for separated and divorced people to come together and fight for their rights and their children's rights. Time for the Irish Government to start treating us more fairly and honestly
Vincent Browne included among the topics: accident and emergency(A&E) hospital waiting times, homelessness, mental health, suicide, housing crisis, Article 8 the abortion issue and Irish Neutrality being compromised by US military planes landing in Ireland.
1. I stated that Separated Families make up roughly a tenth of the population. Two homes have to kept.
2. I asked the candidates present what they will do for Separated Families and their children?
3. I stated that in 2014 the €1200 tax free allowance was taken from Separated Men.
4. That this year the Children's Allowances to Separated Women was cut.
5. That in Ireland a Separated Man gets no extra Unemployment Benefits, Children's Allowance, Back to School Allowance, for the children. All of these benefits automatically go to Women. So these Men are forced to live below the poverty line when they have their children with them.

Roughly at this point Vincent Browne cut in and asked was I reading from a script or book. I replied that they were questions and points I had written down. He told me to get on with my points.

I went on to say I had a solution towards the costs in A&E hospital services.
A method of collecting Revenue for the Irish Government, since a sixteenth of the population is gone, left the country: Proportionally cut down the Dail, TDs, Senators, and Local Councillors and Councils and their staff by one 16th. We are top heavy; too many Chiefs not enough Indians to pay for them.

Also when our Dail TDs, Taoiseachs and Presidents retire do not give their pensions until they are 66 years old like the rest of the population. At that point I was cut off by Mr Browne, as you are only allowed 1minute to make your points and questions.
I had other points written down to tie it in with the discussion.
Last year 40% of the people who committed suicide were unemployed Separated Men.

  • Roughly 60% of the homeless on our streets are men.
  • There are no Domestic Violence Refuges for Men and their children, even though according to C.S.I. statistics of Ireland men equally suffer from Domestic Violence. Information listed on the AMEN Frequently Asked Question Battered Mens' website.
  • Separated Men do not have equal parental rights in Ireland. As only women are covered by the Constitution, separated men have to go to court to get rights to be in their children's lives from a judge, even if they have been the house husband and main child carer. Why is that?
  • Separated families generate about 7 billion Euro to the economy. This 7 billion Euros go to pay for two homes and all the goods therein. This also includes contributing to the wages of Solicitors, Barristers, Judges, Court Staff, Social Workers, Psychologists, Counsellors, Gardai, etc.
  • As pointed out we have a high death rate and some suffer from mental health issues due to stress and parental alienation. We would like the candidates of the next election to deal with us and listen to us. We are a tenth of the population.
My questions were probably be cut as it was a two hour show that they only use about 30minutes of it.

I am a member of the FAMILES Organisation for Separated Men and Women in Limerick. We offer information and counselling services to those going through the trauma of divorce and separation. Their number is 087 260 3603.

Given the chance I would have spoken about the other program subjects above as well.

To Separated People in IrelandI think it is time for separated and divorced people to come together and fight for their rights and their children's rights. Time for the Irish Government to start treating our children and us more fairly and honestly

Rugby Union, 2007 Six Nations:
Ireland vs England

17th October 2015:
By way of preview of the match between Ireland and Argentin here is a repeat of the historic victory of Ireland over England at Croke Parkin in 2007.

It is a reminder of what can be achieved on the field of play by the unique team that is Ireland. Ireland cannot take it for granted that they are home and dried when facing their  adversary, Argentina. For starters the founder of the navy in Argentina was an Irishman named William Brown from Co Mayo. In fact Ireland is represented in the history of that country by it's influence in every department of of civic life. The two countries are tied by history and tradition. But that will all be swept aside as the two countries face off this Sunday in what for both is indeed a historic occasion.
