Rugby Union, 2007 Six Nations: Ireland vs England

By way of preview of the match between Ireland and Argentin here is a repeat of the historic victory of Ireland over England at Croke Parkin in 2007. 

It is a reminder of what can be achieved on the field of play by the unique team that is Ireland. Ireland cannot take it for granted that they are home and dried when facing their  adversary, Argentina. For starters the founder of the navy in Argentina was an Irishman named William Brown from Co Mayo. In fact Ireland is represented in the history of that country by it's influence in every department of of civic life. The two countries are tied by history and tradition. But that will all be swept aside as the two countries face off this Sunday in what for both is indeed a historic occasion.
